Ashleigh Marsden
Clinical Director - BAppSc (OT - Hons)

Ashleigh is the Clinical Director of Paper, Scissors, Play. She completed her BAppSc (OT - Hons) in 2012 working 12 months in aged care and then going to the other end of the ‘spectrum’ and specialising in paediatrics, specifically Autism for the past nine years.

Ashleigh is a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist who works from a family centred framework. Her caring and empathic nature allows for children and families to build rapport easily, leading to a collaborative relationship in supporting children and their families to achieving their therapy goals.

Ashleigh has worked both in Australia and internationally. Ashleigh spent
2 years working in the North West Territories of Canada supporting the Inuit population providing outreach services to small rural communities using a fly in/fly out small aircraft service as well as providing paediatric OT services within the local hospital and schools.

She has worked across a range of paediatric fields in the non-for-profit and private practice sectors. Ashleigh has extensive experience supporting families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Ashleigh is a certified Practising Occupational Therapist and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
